Hepatitis B and C screening and free consultations brought essential diagnostic services directly into unreached communities.
Everight Healthcare Foundation brought life-saving healthcare services directly to communities in Bwari through its Hepatitis B and C screening and Cervical Cancer awareness outreach. The programme provided free screening, health education, and medical consultations, helping community members understand their health status and the importance of early detection and prevention.
The outreach was designed to reduce the barriers that prevent vulnerable populations from accessing essential healthcare services. Licensed healthcare professionals conducted Hepatitis B and C screenings, offered free medical consultations, educated participants on prevention, vaccination, and treatment options, and raised awareness about Cervical Cancer, emphasizing the importance of routine screening and early intervention for women
Our medical outreach programme exists to remove the distance and cost barriers that keep vulnerable Nigerians from quality diagnostic care. Mobile teams bring screening, basic consultations, and referrals directly to communities.
Supported by dedicated volunteers, the outreach ensured smooth registration, participant education, and referral of individuals requiring further medical evaluation or treatment. Community engagement activities also encouraged healthier practices and increased awareness of preventable diseases.
Each outreach is staffed by licensed health professionals and supported by volunteer logistics teams who manage registration, crowd flow, and follow-up documentation.
Through this initiative, Everight Healthcare Foundation strengthened access to preventive healthcare in Bwari, reaching hundreds of residents with critical health information and services that promote early diagnosis, timely treatment, and healthier communities.
Since inception, this programme has reached thousands of Nigerians who would otherwise have gone undiagnosed.
